Downbeat4-4 ("the App") is operated by Edipko Inc. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Data We Collect

• Account information — email address and display name when you sign up via email, Google, or Apple sign-in.
• User content — songs, setlists, shows, chord charts, MIDI presets, annotations, and other data you create in the App.
• Usage data — basic analytics such as app opens and feature usage to help us improve the product.

How We Use Your Data

• To provide and sync your content across devices.
• To authenticate your account and manage subscriptions.
• To improve the App and fix bugs.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with their own privacy policies:

• Firebase (Google) — authentication, database, file storage, and hosting.
• Google Gemini — AI-powered song assistant (queries are processed by Google).
• GetSongBPM — song metadata lookup (key, BPM, time signature).
• Stripe — subscription payment processing.
• Spotify — optional playback integration (requires your Spotify account).

Data Storage

Your data is stored in Firebase (Google Cloud) servers. On mobile devices, a local copy is stored on your device for offline access using Isar database. This local data stays on your device and is not shared.

Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the third-party services listed above, solely to provide the App's functionality.

Data Deletion

You can delete your account and all associated data from the App's settings. When you delete your account, all your data is permanently removed from our servers.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email.
